
Robert
studied dentistry at
the University of Glasgow.
Afterwards he spent
a short time in general
dental practice before
taking posts for eighteen
months as a Senior House
Officer in Maxillofacial
Surgery at Kent and
Canterbury Hospital,
Canterbury and at William
Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
He moved back to Glasgow
to join a rotation as
a Registrar for eighteen
months at Glasgow Dental
Hospital and School,
working in the specialties
of Child Dentistry,
Oral Surgery and Periodontology
(gums). There he obtained
the Fellowship in Dental
Surgery of the Royal
College of Physicians
and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Then followed a move
to London to study for
a Master of Science
degree at the University
of London whilst based
at Guy's Hospital, alternating
with Kent and Canterbury
Hospital, as a Registrar
in Orthodontics.
Robert obtained Membership
in Orthodontics of the
Royal College of Surgeons
of England in 1994.
He is registered on
the Specialist Orthodontic
List of the General
Dental Council.
